Possum Moon was rescued from the streets of Milwaukee as a pregnant, soon-to-be mama and gave birth to The Eclipses shortly after her rescue. Each kitten is thematically named after sun, moon, or stars: Umbra is named after the area on the earth or moon experiencing the total phase of an eclipse Audrey is named after the plant that they found during an eclipse from the Little Shop of Horrors Ra Ra is named after the Egyptian Sun God Lucy is named after the famous Beatles' song referring being in the "sky with diamonds"! Bailey is named after the bright spot during an eclipse Saros is the 18-year cycle that some parts of the world have for eclipses Corona is the crown of the sun! After being found in the middle of the street by a kind passer-by, he landed himself with the Creative Cat Care foster care coordinator! His background remains as mysterious as the dark side of the moon, but one thing is perfectly clear: this little man has speed, force, and strength in unlimited supply. Gibbous gives 100% in everything he does; snuggling, playing, snacking, "v nc nmm cv jnmyhkgl,fghjndb jg" (stomping on the keyboarddddd), you name it! Gibby, as he is called by his foster parents, will definitely need a buddy (or two, or three) to keep him happy and well adjusted since he was found all alone. Bartlett was named for the street where she was found and the fact that she had a pair (pear) of kittens when she was rescued. Bartlett had two delightful kitten pears named Anjou and Bosco, who learned all their adorable personality traits from their dear, sweet Bartlett mama. Bartlett's Story: Bartlett is a special soul. She was booted to the streets as a kitten and forced to fend for herself. A Good Samaritan made sure she was fed and safe, and alerted our rescue to her need to be saved. While on the street she became a teenage mom (kittens can get preggo at 4 months old!) and was rescued when her kittens Anjou and Bosco were newborns. Bartlett was cared for by a foster caregiver while she raised and weaned her kittens, and now that her babies have been adopted, she is ready for her happy forever. Bartlett's Personality; Bartlett is a shy sweetheart who wants to be around her favorite human, but would prefer affection on her own terms. She is extremely motivated to please and will work wonders for a Churu treat. Bartlett will need a quiet home to call her own and plenty of time to acclimate to your routine. She is a low maintenance cutie pie who just wants love and peace. She is still a very young cat who would very much like a playmate cat that is patient, kind, and gentle. Bartlett's Beauty: This girl is gorgeous on the inside and the outside! She has one amber eye and one green eye! She has a churtle-style meow wrapped in a delightful tuxedo suit.
